Fauci says: no reason to take a test if you don't have symptoms

Updated: Sep 9, 2021

On 3rd March 2021, Dr Fauci appeared on CNN and, when asked whether he had taken a test or was going to take a test, said:

"I'm not taking a test for the simple reason I have no symptoms....Not everybody in the United States should take a test. I mean, I have no symptoms - there's no reason for me to take it."

Exactly. Countless doctors have stated that because every test has the potential for false results, they should only be carried out if there's a good reason/symptom. The results should then be considered in conjunction with those symptoms and the person's overall health status and lifestyle - all of which, taken together, enables doctors to come to a reasonable diagnosis.

Endless testing of healthy people is going to keep chucking out false positives and if they proceed with testing all schoolchildren twice a week, as is the current plan, the lockdowns are never going to end.
